Steps

Cut all vegetables in cubes.

Soak daal for 15 Minutes.

Rosat cumin seeds and dry red chilli on low flame and grind it.

In a pressure cooker add dal, chopped vegetables, salt and water Cook it till 2-3 whistles.

Heat the ghee in a pan.Add Cumin seeds, bay leaf and red chilli.

Add Onion, chopped ginger, garlic and tomatoes. Now add the red chilli powder, turmaric powder. Stir fry for a few seconds.

Now in this masala add cooked dal, vegetables required water stir it. Add salt and roasted ground masala and fresh coriander.

Serve Dalma with steamed rice.
