Sarso ka saag is very famous food from punjab .It serves with makki ki roti,white butter, jaggery and buttermilk.try to serve this authentic food in a unique way.
Cooking Instructions

Wash spinach, mustard leaves and bathua well add green chilli's salt and boil in pressure cooker till 3 whistles.

Now heat ghee and butter in a pan add cumin seeds and hing.add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute.now add onion and saute till golden in colour.add tomato and cook till pulpy and mashy.Add all the spices.

After pressure releases,add corn meal to the mustard leaves.blend it with the help of hand blender to make it smooth.

Now add it to tomato paste and cook till done.

It will take approx 30 minutes on low flame.

For makki ki roti.take flour and add water to knead a ferm dough.Rest it for 10 minutes.make little small balls and take between 2 plastic sheets and press with a plate.Take out from sheet care fully and cook on tawa.u can apply oil to make parantha.ready to serve.

Garnish with jaggery and serve.

Spinach can be added but for 2 servings I preferred just sarson leaves and bathua which came out very well.Sarson Ka Saag seems incomplete without makki ki roti. So made makki ki roti by adding dry Fenugreek leaves along with few spices. It goes perfect by adding grated radish but unable for me to find radish. So I made it with dry Fenugreek.
