Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsrawa
  2. 1 cupthick yogurt
  3. 1 cupwater
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1 tspeno salt
  6. as neededOil to fry

Cooking Instructions

    Soak rawa in yogurt. Mix well and add water to adjust the consistency

    Allow it to rest for 5-7 minutes. Till then put steamer on heat.

    Grease the Idli stand and stir the soaked rawa after 7 minutes

  4. 4

    Now add eno salt and give a gentle mix again

  5. 5

    Pour in Idli moulds and keep for steaming for 15-20 min

  6. 6

    Remove once done and let it cool.

  7. 7

    Heat oil for frying

  8. 8

    Cut idlis into two and fry on high heat. One can use a day old Idlies too.

  9. 9

    When brown from all the sides remove from the oil and keep on an absorbent paper.

  10. 10

    Serve hot with coconut chutney
