I have had it many times at weddings here in Hassanabdal and Wah Cantt and I always wanted to know how do they make it. Well, i got the recipe a few days back and tried it a few times till I get perfect results. Here is my way of making Mukhaddi Halwa, I hope you will like it.

I have had it many times at weddings here in Hassanabdal and Wah Cantt and I always wanted to know how do they make it. Well, i got the recipe a few days back and tried it a few times till I get perfect results. Here is my way of making Mukhaddi Halwa, I hope you will like it.
Steps

Soak semolina (Sooji) with milk and water and let it sit covered on room temperature for 2 hours.

Now after soaking it for 2 hours. In a pot add sugar, clarified butter and cardamom powder and start cooking on low flame till sugar disolves and changes it colour to golden brown (like caramel).

Now add soaked semolina mixture in it. Keep stirring and cook on low.

Keep cooking on low and stirring continuously till everything is mixed well and changes it colour to brown caramel.

Spread it even in the pan and let it cook for 2 3 minite (dont stir) now put khoya and dry fruits in it, turn off the flame, mix it well and serve.
