Ingredients

  1. Rice
  2. Oil
  3. Scotch bonnet
  4. Onion
  5. Carrot
  6. Green beans
  7. Ginger and garlic paste
  8. Diced beef
  9. Spices and seasonings
  10. For the coleslow:
  11. Cabbage
  12. Carrot
  13. Cucumber
  14. Green pepper
  15. Boiled egg
  16. Mayyonaise
  17. Black pepper
  18. Powdered milk
  19. Sugar(pinch)
  20. Salt(pinch)

Cooking Instructions

    Cook beef with onion,ginger,garlic,spices and seasonings. Dice and keep aside

  2. 2

    Parboil rice with salt and keep aside,chop carrot, green beans and set aside as well

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan,add the diced meat and fry

  4. 4

    Add the chopped onion, blended scotch bonnet, ginger and garlic paste,keep stirring

  5. 5

    Add in the veggies, spices and seasonings,stir very well and add the parboiled rice. Stir and simmer on low heat till rice is soft.

    In a salad bowl, add shredded cabbage,grated carrot,chopped cucumber,green beans and sliced egg.

    Mix mayo with black pepper, milk and little sugar and add to the coleslaw

  8. 8

    Add pinch of salt and very little grated onion(just for scent) and mix well and its done
