Be ready with all the ingredients.

Soak the kokum in water for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, squeeze them nicely with the fingers. Now add 2 cups of water to this extract.

Now add coconut milk. Also add salt to taste, roasted cumin seeds powder, chopped green chillies. Mix well.

Prepare the tempering. Heat oil in a tadka pan. Once heated add mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Let them crackle. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.

Serve it hot or cold.
