Wash clean the fish and remove the intestines

Slice the fish and let to drip dry

Washa jiko and put the pan. Add oil.

Mix the dry spices in a bowl

Take 1 fish at a time and smear the dry spices on the fish. Ensure that the spices cover the inside of the fish and where it has been sliced. Remove excess spices.

Deep fry on hot oil one at a time for 5 minutes on each side.

Remove from oil and put on a rack to drip excess oil.

Serve with hot ugali and kachumbari.
