Heat oil in a pressure cooker,add onion,cook it until it turns translucent. In a bowl add yoghurt,big cardamom cloves, cinnamon sticks,bay leaves, tomato, green cardamom,green chilli,red chilli powder, coriander, powder, turmeric powder ginger- garlic paste,salt, garam masala powder, cook on high flame for 2 mins.

Wash and clean goat trotters,add this to the cooker and give it a nice mix,allow it to cook on high flame add 4-5 cups of water.

Cover the pressure cooker and allow it to pressure cook for 45 mins or 15 whistles.

Once it is cooked,adjust the seasoning,. Then heat 1 tbsp oil in a small pan fry 1 sliced onion and add this to the paya. Give baghar.

Our mutton paya is ready. Garnish with some chopped coriander and chillies and little lemon juice. Serve hot with dal Puri or naan
