Steps

Take the mixing bowl add Dry Peas wash and add enough water to it. Then soak overnight.

In the morning rinse and drain the water throughout. then add some water into it and boil them till they becomes soft or well cooked.

Now heat the oil/ghee in a pan, add mustard and cumin seeds allow it to splutter them. Then add Curry leaves and Ginger garlic paste saute well.

Next add chopped onions saute it well until they turns translucent.

Additionally add chopped tomato and stir continuously till they becomes soft and mushy.

Further more add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, cumin & coriander powder saute well they becomes aromat smell but do not burn it.

After add boiled Peas and salt to taste mix well with all ingredients. Finally add chopped coriander leaves.

Then cover the lid and simmer for few seconds. Now Dry Peas Palya is ready.

Lastly serve hot with roti, rice as you wish.
