Marinate the chicken with onion paste, ginger paste, garlic paste and salt and left it for some hours.

Meanwhile Roast the black sesame seeds and the peppercorns nicely.

Grind roasted black sesame seeds, peppercorns, green chillies to a fine paste. Add little water while grinding. Make sure not to burnt the sesame seeds while roasting, otherwise it will taste bitter.

Heat oil in a pan. Add little sugar. When the sugar caramalizes, add the chopped onions and fry till golden brown.

Add the marinated chicken pieces. Fry the chicken nicely. Cover the lid and let it cook over medium flame.

Add the sesame paste and little water (hot). Let it boil some minutes.

Switch off the flame when the gravy thickens.

Goes perfectly well with hot steamed rice.
