Wash flattened rice thoroughly in a sieve.

Wash, peel and chop onion, beans, tomato, potato and peas.

Heat oil in a karahi and put mustard seeds and when mustard seeds splutter add onion. Sauté for 30 seconds. Add chopped potatoes, beans, peas and cook till they are soft.

Now add salt, turmeric powder, garam masala, chilli powder, sugar, tomato, peanuts, raisins, cashews and stir thoroughly. Sauté for 1 minute.

Add flattened rice and mix well. Sauté for 1 minute. Add lemon juice and mix.

Transfer it in a serving bowl garnished with chopped coriander leaves and serve with green chutney.
