Black beans one of the most versatile bean next to chickpeas on the planet, well I think so anyhow..... just saying!!! Lol By the way you may ask why summer savory? Well it just so happens that it is an anti-gas herb so if you don't want the embarrassing problems of gas, just add summer savory it helps out a bunch.

Cooking Instructions

Soak the black beans overnight. Drain and look over the beans remove any foriegn objects. Add new water to beans and put on the heat.

Dice the onion add the summer savory and pour into the beans along with the butter.

Dice the hog jawls add to the beans. When it has simmered for 1 hour add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for 45 minutes more. Now it's ready to serve. I hope you enjoy!!!!
