Ingredients

  • 2/3 cupwarm water
  • 1 tablespoonyeast
  • 1 tablespoonsugar
  • 2 cupsplain flour
  • 2 tablespoonmilk powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • 1 tablespoonchilli flakes
  • 3 tablespoonchopped garlic
  • 1/2 cupmelted butter
  • 1 teaspoonoregano
  • 1 cupmozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoonoil

Steps

    In a bowl add water, sugar and yeast and whisk well. Add milk powder and flour and make a dough. Rub oil to the dough and cover with cling film and leave it in warm place to prove for an hour or until it doubles in size.

    Melt the butter and add oregano, garlic, chilli flakes and coriander and mix well.

    Knead lightly on floured surface and roll it in round shape with 1/2 inch thickness.
    Brush the melted butter on the base leaving an inch around. Sprinkle mozzarella on half and fold. Press the sides to lock. Brush the remaining butter on top and make slits across. Bake for 15 minutes on 180 degree or until golden brown. Let it cool for few minutes. Enjoy.

Hi all, my name is Rekha. I am Indian by birth, born in Uganda, East Africa, I now live in Wilby, Northamptonshire/England.I retired at the age of 60 due to severe arthritis. I am married, a mother and grandmother.I learnt to cook from my parents at a very young age of seven. I started to cook simple dishes for the family and gradually learnt how to cook. My mum use to cook at our shop where we sold Indian sweets and savouries. I have learnt a lot from my mum. I started cooking fusion dishes and learning from others. My strong point is making sweet dishes and innovating new dishes. I can improvise and be creative in leftover dishes.I love being on Cookpad because I can share and learn new recipes. I have also made a lot of friends.
