  • 1 cupSemolina/Rava
  • 4 cupsWater
  • 1.5 cupSugar
  • 1/8 tspTurmeric powder
  • 2cardamoms
  • 1/4 cupGhee
  • 10Cashews
  • 10Raisins

    In a pan add 1tbsp ghee and roast the cashews and raisins and remove from the pan.

    In the same pan, add the rava and roast for few seconds until it gets nice aroma and remove from the pan.

    Now add the water to the pan and allow it to boil. When the water starts to boil, add the turmeric powder, cardamom and mix well.

    Now put the flame into low, add the roasted rava slowly and stir well. Mix well and ensure there is no lumps. Close the pan with lid and cook for another 1 minute.

    After that add sugar and mix well.

    Finally add the remaining ghee, fried cashews and raisins and mix well.
