Yam, stew and veg stew

Cut, wash and boil yam with little salt and sugar. When done, drain the water and keep in a food warmer.

Cut amd wash the ugu leaves, in a small pot, add some water(not much) and add the ugu leaves. Cut onions and pepper into small size inside, add seasonings and lil oil. Let it cook for like fifteen to thirty minutes depending on how cooked you want it.

The red stew is a day to day meal, made of blended onions, tomatoes, pepper and cooked(with meat)or fried.

You can mix both stews or add the leaves to your already made red stew.
