Steps

Heat ghee in a pan and add Elaichi. As they pop, add siwaiyyan.

Fry siwaiyyan in ghee well enough till they turn golden.

Mix food colour in 1 cup milk. Heat it at low flame. Add 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar. Let sugar dissolve completely, do not burn it.

When all sugar is dissolved, add syrup in fried siwaiyyan. Mix well, at low to medium flame, to avoid burning sugar.

When siwaiyyan are blended in syrup completely, cover pan with a lid and let it cook at medium flame till all syrup is absorbed.

Dish out, and garnish with slivered almonds and pistachios.
