Rinse the quinoa in a pretty netted small sieve, under running water.

In a wok,add quinoa +water(for 1cup quinoa+2cups water,here we took 2cups quinoa +4cups water).place the wok on medium flame and let it boil.

After 5-7mins, you will see the white circle on each seed. Stir it and off the flame cover with a lid for 5 mins, you will see all the water has been evaporated.

Meanwhile,need a pre-preparation,of all veggies chopped..

Take a wok, add olive oil or any cooking oil, add mustard seeds, let it splutter, add cumin, grated ginger, green chillies, curry leaves, add onions, let it becomes translucent then add carrots, green peas, tomatoes and add salt. Cover with a steam releasing lid. For 5-7mins or till all the veggies are cooked evenly.

Add the quinoa and mix well. Cover with a lid for 5 mins more and done.

Quinoa upma is ready to serve. No need of any accompaniment....
