Ingredients

15 minutes, prep time 10 minutes

  • 1Alphonso mango
  • 1 cupdesiccated coconut powder
  • 1/4 cuppowdered sugar
  • 1/4 cupmilk
  • 1/2 cupcondensed milk
  • 1 cupmilk powder
  • 2 tspghee
  • 1/2 tspcardamom nutmeg powder

15 minutes, prep time 10 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and peel off Alphonso mango and cut in small pieces or grind in mixer jar and make Alphonso mango paste.

    In a kadai mix, milk powder, milk, powdered sugar and condensed milk. Stir well. Now turn on gas stove flame.

    Stir continuously on a slow flame of gas stove. Make sure no lumps in the mixture. Now add mango pulp or paste. Give a nice stir. Add ghee for flavour and glossy texture. When thickens ad desiccated coconut powder mix well. Add cardamom nutmeg powder. cook it until turns in a dough form, stir constantly to avoid burning. Turn off the gas stove.

    Keep aside for the couple of minutes to cool down a little bit. Take a modak mould and fill in the cavities this mango Mawa mixture. And make all the modak.

    For garnishing sprinkle some dessicated coconut powder, and rose petals.
