Galleries marinara sauce

Best sauce I ever had was from this pizza place from my hometown. I was told it has no sugar in it, and it was made ahead of time. Didn’t appear to be cooked down to be dark either. I think they used San marzano tomatoes cause the sauce is sweet. It definitely had garlic, basil, and Parmesan cheese in the sauce. Possibly grated onions? Appeared to be crushed tomatoes too
