A popular spicy street food of Kolkata and Bangladesh by me this Ramadan. This makes for a super yummy snack for the evenings. Enjoy this amazing Chaat for Iftaar as well. It comes as a pleasant surprise to all those Chaat lovers. Mustard oil gives such a fantastic colour to the dish. It is that one secret ingredient that should not be missed because it tastes so good only with that. It is a must for this recipe to maintain it's authenticity. Serve them immediately after you toss everything well. This one thing should be remembered friends. Otherwise it tends to become soggy.
Enjoy Cooking with Zee!

Happy Snacking Everyone!

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

Before starting the actual recipe, it is important to make Muri Masala or Moodi Masala. For that, all we have to do is to dry roast all the ingredients mentioned under it's preparation list. Grind to a fine powder. In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients mentioned along with the prepared Masala. This Masala is the star attraction in this dish.

  2. 2

Finally squeeze juice of a medium sized Lemon on top. Mix well and serve immediately. This spicy puffed rice is a treat to our tastebuds, especially for those who love spicy food. Enjoy!

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
