Ingredients

Cooking :45 minutes & Cooling 4 hours
8 servings
  1. 1 tbspCustard powder (I have used mixed fruit)
  2. 1 pinchBaking powder
  3. 3/4 cupMaida
  4. 2 tablespoonsButter
  5. 1 tablespoonSugar
  6. 1 tablespoonmilk
  7. 2 cupsMilk
  8. 2 tablespoonsCustard powder
  9. 2 tablespoonsSugar
  10. 1 teaspoonVanilla essence
  11. 1 cupmixed Fruit

Steps

Cooking :45 minutes & Cooling 4 hours
  1. 1

    Mix the custard powder and baking powder together.

  2. 2

    Take butter and sugar together in a bowl and cream together. Prepare a dough by mixing maida, milk and custard powder.

  3. 3

    Knead and smooth the dough. Divide it into 8 equal portions and roll it into a 4-inch round shape.

  4. 4

    Make small holes in it and keep it in molds.Bake it for 15 minutes at 180 degrees c.

  5. 5

    Add custard powder to 1/2 cup milk and keep aside. Heat the remaining milk and sugar and mix well.

  6. 6

    Add custard powder and vanilla essence. Stir continuously on low heat.

  7. 7

    Cool it and now fill prepared custard in these 8 tarts.
    Now cool it and refrigerate it for 4-5 hours so that the custard is set. Add fruits on the top before serving.
