Soak the urad dal for 2 hours. The drain the water and put the urad dal in the mixie and blend to a smooth paste without adding water.

To the batter, add chopped onion, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves and pepper powder and mix well.

In a kadhai, heat oil to boiling temperature and drop the batter with ur hands as small balls into the oil. Fry till the balls get a golden brown appearance. Mysore bonda ready to eat.
