You take salt and baking powder in semolina and make a batter.

First prepare the batter by adding semolina and curd and water as needed in a bowl and keep it covered for two to 3 hours.

In a small fry pan, pour some oil, turmeric powder and pour the mustard seed into it. And mix it in the better.

Now grease the idli stand with oil and add the idli batter.

You put a little water in a big pot and boil it and keep the idli stand in it and cover and cook for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes take out the idli stand and let it cool for 2 minutes. With a knife or spoon, remove it from the idli stand.

Your soft and spongy idli is ready, you can serve it with sambar chutney.
