Yummy, spicy and perfect for a starter or main meal.
Steps

Add onions and olive oil to a pan, sauté until onions are translucent. Heat should be medium.

Add chicken livers to the pan with the garlic (add ginger paste for extra flavour). Allow the livers to cook stirring to allow onion and garlic to mix with the livers

When livers are half way cooked, add white or some boiling water with vinegar. Allow liquid to absorb into the livers

Add the butter and reduce heat to low. Allow the livers to simmer for 2-3 minutes

Add salt, chilli flakes, peri-peri or any spices which you like to the pan. Add a little bit of boiling water should it need a little liquid.

Add green peppers and increase heat to medium temperature. Allow the peppers to soften.

Mix the cream and nando's sauce in a cup and when the peppers are soft, pour over the livers. Let it cook for another 5 minutes

For a starter, serve with some homemade bread, pitas, toast. For main meal, serve with some white rice or mashed potatoes.
