Steps
- 1
Add Flour, milk powder, salt and oil to a large bowl. Stir in a teaspoon of sugar in warm milk and put in the yeast. Let it rest in a warm or hot place for a few minutes or till the yeast has started to bubble up and becomes frothy. Also it has a relaxing smell which shows that it is ready for use.
- 2
Using milk, knead the dough. If it so happens that more liquid is needed, either use milk or water. Let it rest in a warm place for a few hours or till the dough has risen to double it's quantity. Once the dough is done, punch it down. And start to pull out sections and roll them into small and equal balls. You can make buns of any shape.
- 3
For this shape that I chose, roll out the ball of dough into a rectangle, fold it and roll it into a cylinder. Let these rise for about an hour in a warm place. Bake them at 180 degree Celsius for about 25-30 minutes or till they have developed a golden brown colour. Let them cool completely.
- 4
Cut up the buns through the centre. Fill them up with either Whipped cream or Fresh cream. Enjoy!
