Ingredients

45 minutes
Serves 4 servings
  1. 3/4 cupchickpea flour (about 100 grams)
  2. 2/3 cupall-purpose flour (about 80 grams)
  3. 1/3 cupwater (about 100 ml)
  4. 3 tablespoonssesame seeds (about 30 grams)
  5. 3 tablespoonschia seeds (about 30 grams)
  6. 1 teaspoonturmeric
  7. 1 teaspoonsalt
  8. 4 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C).

  2. 2

    In a bowl, combine both flours with the seeds and spices.

  3. 3

    Gradually add the water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms that doesn’t stick to your hands.

  4. 4

    Place the dough on a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray. Put another sheet of parchment paper on top and use a rolling pin to roll the dough out very thin so the nachos will be extra crispy.

  5. 5

    Use a knife to cut the dough into the shapes you want for your nachos. They’ll separate easily after baking.

  6. 6

    Bake the tray in the oven at 320°F (160°C) for about 30 minutes, or until the nachos are as golden as you like.

  7. 7

    Remove the tray from the oven and let the nachos cool. Then separate them and enjoy.
