Ingredients

55 minutes
8 people
  1. 3eggs slighlty beaten
  2. 1 cuplight karo syrup
  3. 1 cupsugar
  4. 2 tbsbutter or margarine (melted)
  5. 1 tspvanilla
  6. 1 1/2 cuppecans (chopped or whole)
  7. 1pie crust (deep dish)

Cooking Instructions

55 minutes
  1. 1

    In a large bowl mix together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes (until knife inserted in middle comes out clean.) Let cool on wire rack. Add ice cream or cool whip as desired.:)

Hello and probably a stupid question but I've never made a pecan pie. In your recipe it states to stir in the pecans is that correct? I always thought you just put the pecans on top.
