Dirt Pie

This is a family favourite that, as children, my girls enjoyed making for my sister's Halloween party each year. But grown-ups like it too, as it was always a special request from my brother-in-law!

Ingredients

2 pies

20crushed Oreo cookies
1-4 ouncepkg instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cupmilk
1 litrelight cool whip (thaw in fridge)
1 1/2 cupsmini marshmallows
2Graham pie crusts
Gummy worms

Crush Oreo cookies between sheets of wax paper with a rolling pin and set aside.

Combine instant chocolate pudding mix with 1 cup of milk until smooth.

Add cool whip and mini marshmallows.

Add 3/4 of the crushed Oreo cookies and spread mixture between 2 Graham pie crusts. Top with remaining 1/4 crushed Oreo cookies and gummy worms.

Freeze pies for at least 4 hours.

Remove pies from freezer 15 minutes prior to serving, to allow them to soften a bit for cutting and eating.
