Ingredients

8 - 10 servings
  • 2 tbspsaunf/fennel seeds
  • 8-10Cardamom
  • 1 cupwater
  • 1 1/2 cupsugar (mishri)

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients and soak in water overnight.

  2. 2

    Boil in water for 5-7 min.

  3. 3

    Strain it.
    Add sugar and make sugar syrup of 1 thread consistency

  4. 4

    You can store it in a bottle for 1 month in fridge.

  5. 5

    To make Sharbat:-
    Add 2 tbsp syrup in a glass and you can make sharbat by adding water/milk.

  6. 6

    Tip
    You don’t have to add any preservative. If you want to store it for a long time you can add potassium meta bisulphite.
    You can use food colour but I haven’t used any food colour or chemical.
