Take a bowl add one cup suji add half cup curd and mix well.

Add half table spoon kali Rai and pinch of food colour mix it well. 1/4 tablespoon salt. Mix water as per need. Make sure that batter is not much thick. Rest it for 10-15 minutes.

Heat water in a pressure cooker for steam. Add baking soda in batter and mix well. Pour the batter in greased idli moulds now place the Idli stand in the pressure cooker steam the idli for 10 to 12 minutes or more till a toothpick inserted in the idli comes out clean. Remove them from mould and serve the steaming hot rava idli with chutney.
