Take ghee and curd in a bowl. Whisk it. Then add the flour and baking powder. Knead till maida starts crumbling. Then add warm water and finish kneading.

Put sugar and water in a bowl and boil them. Sugar syrup gets ready when it turns sticky.

Make balls out of the dough. Roll them gently and lightly between palms. Put an indent or depression.

Put refined oil in pan. Boil oil in high flame, then lower the flame. Put the balushahi one by one. Put maximum 4-5 pieces at a time. Fry them till it becomes firm. Turn over and fry them. It takes 20-25 minutes for frying one batch of balushahi.

Then transfer to a plate and let it rest. Then add the warm Balushahi in sugar syrup. Rest them for 15 minutes. Take them out and serve.
