Wash poha thoroughly and drain the water.

Add 3/4 cup of fresh curd into the poha and mix it very nicely. Cover and Keep aside for minimum 15 minutes.

Now take semolina in a separate bowl and add half cup fresh curd into it. Mix it nicely. Add little water for convenient mixing of it.Continue adding water until your spoon runs easily into the semolina curd mixture. Approximately half cup of water will be used. Cover and keep aside for minimum 15 minutes.

Now after the resting time is over uncover both poha and semolina mixture and mix both of them together. Mixing might be difficult so use silicon spatula or your hands for quick mixing.

Now add to it, vegetables and spices as mentioned above in the ingredients. Makes everything very nicely either with a spatula or your hands.

Make small ticket out of it. Oil your palms before making Tikki because the batter is very sticky or wear gloves as they are non-sticky.

Now take 3 to 4 tablespoons oil in a nonstick pan and shallow fry these tikkis. 4 tablespoon oil is sufficient to make 20 croquettes at one time. Do not deep fry for healthy version.

Do not touch the tikkis when you first put in the oil let the colour change from below, then only flip it. Serve hot with dips of your choice.
