Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1.1 lbsbeef stew meat, cubed
  2. 3carrots
  3. 1onion
  4. 1leek
  5. 1tomato
  6. 3.5 ozpeas (canned or frozen are also fine)
  7. 2/3 cupred wine
  8. 1 piecedark chocolate
  9. Salt and pepper
  10. 7 ozorzo pasta (a rice-shaped pasta)

Cooking Instructions

    Season and lightly flour the beef, then fry in a pot until browned.

    Next, add the chopped onion and leek, and fry for a few minutes until soft.

    Add the chopped tomato and thickly sliced carrots, and fry until the tomato breaks down.

    Add the red wine and piece of chocolate, stir, and let it boil on high heat for a few minutes to evaporate the alcohol.

    Add the peas and a little water if necessary, just enough to cover the meat. Cover and let simmer on low heat for a couple of hours.
