In a mixing bowl cream sugar and butter until creamy.add the eggs one by one and mix or beat. Add the buttermilk and give it a quick stir. Add the remaining dry ingredients and mix well till smooth.pour in greased pans and bake in a preheated oven until an inserted skewer comes out clean.
