Come Month of Ramadan, this is my definite routine every Year. And this way, it becomes lot easier to use it whenever required. Sheer Khurma is the special dessert that is so synonymous with Eid UL Fitr. You just need to boil Milk. Reduce it a little. Sweeten it up with Condensed milk or Sugar and then finally add this Ghee Fried Sevaiyan and Mixed Nuts. Cook for about 2 more minutes and you are done. You will be tension free and whenever guests come in, you can immediately whip up this dessert and serve them. Add them accordingly. Some people love to add them more and some prefer a less amount.

Eid UL Fitr Mubaarak Everyone!

Steps

20-25 minutes
  1. 1

In a large kadai, Allow Ghee to melt on a low heat. Add Sevaiyan and roast them until golden brown. Remember to do that on a low heat only.

  2. 2

These special Sevaiyan are available in our City in almost every little grocery shop. These are long bundles and need to be broken into small. And fry them in large quantities. And after thoroughly cooled, store them in airtight containers for later use. Store them in the freezer for best results. The Season demands it. As the temperatures are soaring high, this needs to be stored in the freezer only. If the weather is good and less humid, you can store it in the refrigerator.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
