Sabudana with green matar

Sabudana is an Indian dish made from soaked sabudana. It is typically prepared in western parts of India. It is hugely popular in India as a fasting dish. In sabudana green matar I have used fresh green peas just to make it more colourful. This dish is not for fasting. You can relish sabudana with green matar at any time.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and fry peanuts and keep aside. Now in the same pan add cumin seeds and sauté along with curry leaves green chilli and green peas.

Once the green peas become soft add boiled potato cubes and sauté for a min. Add salt and the soaked sabudana and mix well.

Cook the sabudana on a low medium flame and cover with the lid. Cook for 5 to 8 mins.

Now add fried peanuts and mix well and off the gas burner.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. You can add lemon juice. Relish sabudana green matar nimbu marke.
