Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 cupswhole green moong
  • 3 cupscrushed jaggery
  • 3-4sweet potatoes
  • as requiredFruits for garnishing
  • 5 cupswater

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak moong for 2 hours. Peel and cut sweet potatoes into big pieces. Boil it together in a pressure cooker till 4-5 whistles adding 5 cups water.

    Then open the lid. Add jaggery. Stir it continuously till jaggery melts and the water or gravy becomes thick.

  3. 3

    Let it cool down. With normal temperature serve it with fruits.
