Nani’s fudge
Patience is a virtue and this recipe takes tonnes of it! Make sure to thicken the fudge for very long as it does not harden much so needs it’s time however annoying that is!

Steps
- 1
Cook milk until little thick
- 2
While the milk is thickening, add milk little by little into the cocoa and mix into a paste. Once made, add the paste into the remainder of the milk and cook till thick. Takes about 10 mins.
- 3
Add sugar and cream into the mixture and cook until it becomes a thick ball. Keep stirring as this occurs else it will overflow.
- 4
Add butter and keep cooking until there is a jali style look. Use judgement to decide how much to cook - the more it cooks, the harder the fudge. To check, take out a small blob and allow to cool for 2 minutes to taste cooled down texture and cook further until it is hard enough. Patience is key - it takes long to get cooked (maybe 20 mins)
- 5
Add walnuts and put into a greased dish and allow to cool
