Potato and onion fritters

Take chopped onion in bowl. Add salt to it. Mix salt, red chilli powder and onion with hands, add chopped coriander and keep it for half an hour. Onion will leave water.

Add 1 cup gram flour and carrom seeds. Check the consistency of batter. It should not be very flowy. Don't add extra water to batter. If the batter is flowy, add gram flour to it. Add baking soda and mix it well. Keep oil in kadhai for frying. Fry onion fritters till it becomes golden brown on medium flame

For potato fritters, take gram flour in bowl, add salt, pinch of baking soda, chopped coriander. Make batter and dip potato slice in it and fry it on medium flame. Serve hot with tomato ketchup
