Wash and soak rice for an hour, drain the water and blend the rice in blender to make a coarse paste.

Add very little water if required.

In a heavy bottom pan, add ghee, when ghee is hot, add the milk.simmer the heat and cook till milk is reduced to 1/2 and phirni has reached the desired consistency.

Add sugar and rose water. And transfer in to little matka and freeze for 2-3 hours.

Garnish with pistachios and almond.

Serve chill like a dessert.
