Ingredients

10 minutes
2-3 servings
  1. 2-3 cupscabbage, finely sliced
  2. 3/4 cupchickpea flour
  3. 1small onion, chopped
  4. 1 tsp.ginger, grated
  5. 1green chilies, chopped
  6. 3 tbsp.mint leaves, chopped
  7. to tastesalt
  8. 1/2 tsp.turmeric powder
  9. 1/2 tsp.chili powder
  10. 1/2 tsp.cumin powder
  11. 1/2 tsp.garam masala powder
  12. 1 tsp.amchur powder
  13. pinchbaking soda
  14. 1 tsp.sesame seeds
  15. 1/2 tsp.cumin seeds
  16. 2 tbsp.fresh grated coconut
  17. oil to deep fry

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    In a boil, combine all the mentioned ingredients (except oil). Add water. little at a time, and make a slightly thick batter. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

    Heat oil in a pan and drop spoonfuls in it. Deep fry on a medium flame till golden brown. Drain on a kitchen towel.

  3. 3

    Enjoy as a tea time snack or as an appetizer with any chutney, sauce, labneh, hummus or cheese spread.
