Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut into long fries. Defrost the tikka chunks and keep aside.
- 2
In a sieve, wash the fries thoroughly with water. This helps remove excess starch, and makes the fries crispy and light.
- 3
Heat oil in a wok. Keep the oil at high heat or the fries will become soggy.
- 4
When oil bubbles, add the fries. Let them cook. In a separate pan, add the chunks and fry them until golden brown.
- 5
When the chunks are done, remove them and dice them up into small pieces.
- 6
Remove fries when they are golden slightly brown. Add to dish with chunks. Add salt and shake the dish to evenly distribute the salt.
- 7
In a small bowl, add mayo and garlic powder. Mix until well combined. Add to the fries and chunks. Mix well. Serve.

A heartfelt thank you for 1000 reviews! This dish pairs wonderfully with beer and is also recommended as a side dish. Shrimp and Potatoes with Garlic Lemon Mayonnaise Shrimp and Potatoes with Garlic Lemon Mayonnaise
I love this "mayonnaise milk garlic lemon sauce". I often have it just with potatoes, but the lemony flavor also goes well with shrimp. Plus my son likes beans, so I added some and he was so happy. So I created a dish combining these ingredients that go so well together. The key point is to preseason with ingredients with salt and pepper. If you skip this, the final result won't be that good so don't forget. The reason for microwaving the potatoes in Step 1 is to cut down on frying time. You can skip the microwaving step and just fry the potatoes for longer if you like. But microwaving first and then deep frying makes the result crispier, so I recommend it. For 2 to 4 servings.
