This is one of my mom's recipe changed a bit for my convenience
Steps

Add 2 tbsp ghee in a pan. Heat it and then add dryfruits in it and fry them in low flame. Take it out and keep aside.

Soak basmati rice for half an hour.

Now take a kadhai add ghee in it and then add cardomoms and cloves in it then add 1 cup water to it add food colour and kesar in it. Mix it properly

Now add rice in it and cover it and keep it in sim flame for 10 mins. After 10 mins check if it is almost 90%cooked. Then add sugar, dryfruits and 2 tbsp ghee in it. Now mix it gently and cover it again for 5mins in sim flame. After 5 mins check it once again. Serve it hot
