Chop onions and chillies and keep it handy. Then cut the bitter gourd in the shape of half moon. Marinate the prawn with salt and turmeric for half an hour.

In a pan put oil, once oil heat add chopped onion and chillies. Fry onion for 5 minutes then add bitter gourd and prawns. Then add salt and turmeric powder then mix all together. Keep stirring for few minutes then add water.

After adding water, cover the pan and let it cooked for 20 minutes in low to medium flame. Once bitter gourd cooked, dish is ready to serve with hot rice.
