Steps

Wash off the lentils and soak in water for 15 minutes.

Now, add soaked daal with 3cups of water in cooker and cook it for 10 minutes.

Now, heat the pan. Heat ghee. Add cumin seeds, hing, onions, garlic and ginger. Saute for 5 minutes.

Now, add tomatoes. Salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, dry chillies. Cook it for sometimes.

Now,add boiled lentils. Let it cook for 2minutes and add some water. Now, add more ghee. It's ready to serve. You can use earthenware too as I have used.
