Simple Banana Cake
3 days away from my birthday, I needed to learn how to bake and my first trial gave me hope. Cooking is fuun
Steps
- 1
Coat sufuria or baking tin with magarine and sprinkle with wheat flour and put aside - this will be used to place the mixture and the coating is important to ensure your cake does not stick
- 2
In a bowl, add flour, baking powder, salt then mix - I used the tin below to measure my flour (one and a half of it). Added salt and tasted the mixture. Then added one and a half spoons of the baking powder(normal eating spoon)
- 3
In the same bowl with the flour mixture, add eggs - I used 4 eggs, one after the other and stopped at 4 because I was happy with the outcome
- 4
Add milk to the mixture to make sort of a thick paste
- 5
In another bowl, add magarine and sugar then mix. I recommend you heat the mixture to have it in liquid form.
- 6
Add the magarine mix to your flour mix then add banana flavour and stir to mix. Finally empty your mixture to the baking tray/ sufuria you prepared in step one
- 7
Preheat oven for like 10 mins then put the mixture in the oven for 50mins at 180 degrees. Before removing from your baking tray, use a toothpick to test if it is well cooked. If yes, serve and Enjoy 🥰
