Wash and Soak urad dal for 2 hours.

After two hours blend the dal add water in batches as required, once done keep aside.

Seive Rava and add to blended dal add 1 cup water mix and leave for 6-8 hours for fermentation.

After 8 hours your batter is ready, this can be used to make dosa, idli, appey or dhokla as I did.

You can even use ready made dosa batter.

Take all the ingredients under green chutney section blend and keep aside green chutney is ready.

Now take 1.5 cup batter add salt, 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger, 1 teaspoon sugar and mix.

Put this mixture in the greased plate, put it in steamer and steam for 10 minutes.

Take a bowl take 2 tablespoons green chutney add 1 tablespoon dosa batter and keep aside.

Once the 1st layer is steamed apply chutney generously on the dhokla layer, steam again for 5 minutes.

For second layer add 1.5 cup batter add remaining grated ginger, salt, sugar and turmeric powder mix. This is yellow layer.

Now once the chutney layer is steamed, cut cheese slices in small square pieces and arrange on green layer, now pour tomato ketchup and spread generously.

On top of ketchup pour yellow batter spread nicely by rotating plate.

Now steam for one last time for 10-12 minutes.

Once done, keep aside to cool down a little.

For tadka, take a tadka pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, hing, curry leaves, green chillies, some salt.

Add tadka to dhokla, let it's rest for 3-4 minutes now cut in square pieces you can see layers with melted cheese.

Serve with green chutney and sauce. Enjoy.
