First of all take 1 cup besan in a bowl add salt, 1/2 cumin seeds, a pinch of asafoetida and a pinch of baking soda. Mix all ingredients and make better. And put aside.

Now take the remaining 1 cup besan, add salt, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, green chillies, coriander leaves, a pinch of asafoetida and a pinch of baking soda and add onion flacks. And mix it well.

Now preheat oil in a kadai on medium flame, now take slice of potatoes and dip into besan mixture and fry from both side.

Now fry onion fritters as well.
