Sloe Coulis

As part of our continued exploration of sloes, this weekend we made sloe coulis. Super simple, and a perfect sauce to add to breakfasts and desserts. I adapted the strawberry coulis recipe from the Pam the Jam book

Steps
- 1
Simmer the sloes in the water for about 10 minutes. The mixture got thicker than I was expecting, so just keep adding water if it gets too thick
- 2
Strain the mixture through a sieve
- 3
Put the sauce back into the ban, bring to a low simmer and add sugar to taste. Wait until it's cooled, then bottle it.
