  1. 10.5 ozporcini mushrooms (about 300 grams)
  2. 1-2eggs
  3. as neededBreadcrumbs,
  4. as neededFlour,
  5. Vegetable oil for frying (if frying)
  6. Extra virgin olive oil (if baking)

10-15 minutes in the oven

    Clean and brush the fresh porcini mushrooms, then slice them lengthwise into pieces about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thick.

    Dip the mushroom slices first in flour.

    Next, coat them in beaten egg.

    Finally, dredge them in breadcrumbs.

    I prefer to bake them in the oven with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, along with other mushrooms like oyster mushrooms, which also work well for this recipe. Alternatively, you can fry them in vegetable oil.
